Because of advances in the technologies used to print our guides, and in order to maintain the highest reproduction possible, we have revised

our requirements. Please review these new requirements and call us at 305 442-9444 if you have any questions.

Advertising may be submitted as Macintosh or PC compatible files.

ELECTRONIC FILE REQUIREMENTS:

Page Layout Applications: QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

Image Formats: pdf files are the preferred format, eps, tiff or jpeg. Please provide layered files if available.

Scans & Logos: Saved at 300 dpi at 100% CMYK or Grayscale. Include all files.

Fonts: Adobe Type 1, 2, or 3 (postscript) fonts with screen and printer fonts.

Proofs: A composite b&w or color laser proof at 100% should accompany all advertisements. Color matchproofs are preferred.

Before Sending: Preflight and collect for output. Include all images & fonts.

Delivery Media Accepted: CD or DVD. Email files must be compressed prior to attachment using a common compression

such as winzip, pkware, or stuff-it for Macintosh. Email files to RSeres@filmFlorida.com.

Emails from ISPs such as AOL, MSN, Hotmail or other similar sources may not work because of inherent problems with built-in self-compression programs, gatekeeper intercepts from spam and restricted viewing preferences, and other electronic anomalies. If you have a mass consumer ISP such as this, please be prepared to send your files on disc via mail or by a courier service.

CAMERA READY OR FINAL FILM:

If an ad is submitted as a camera ready mechanical or as film, any charges incurred by the publisher to prepare or convert the artwork for digital printing will be charged accordingly to the advertiser.

Black & White Ads: Right Reading, Emulsion Side Down, 133 Line Screen Negative with a velox proof of final film.

Color Ads: Composed Negatives 4-color process (CMYK) Right Reading, Emulsion Side Down, 133 Line Screen with color proof

(Matchprint or Color Key).

CREATIVE SERVICES: We will accommodate most corrections free of charge. All other corrections, modifications or adjustments to customer art will be billed at $60.00 an hour ($15.00 minimum). If you do not have an ad agency or staff graphic artist, we suggest you allow us to build your ad for you. Prices are very reasonable, ($60.00 per hour) and are based upon size and complexity. You will have to provide us with ad copy, photography and logos or line art that will be incorporated into the finished ad. Please allow additional time prior to deadlines for this service. Note: Creative Services provided by Film Florida Publishing Company may not be copied or duplicated without a written request from the advertiser and written permission granted by Film Florida Publishing Company. All expenses for duplication are the responsibility of the advertiser.

The below ad sizes indicate the maximum size at the outer edge of keyline borders surrounding the ad. If an ad is supplied without a keyline border then the publisher reserves the right to place a keyline around the ad.

All information in the Film Florida Production Guides is on our web site. Film Florida Online receives thousands of qualified hits each week. You can enhance your exposure with an Online Resume or Web Link.

RESUME: $100.00 annually plus a one-time set-up fee of $50.00. Free to display advertisers in the CREW CHAPTER. With a valid email address and web browser we will provide you with a login code so you can access and maintain your own resume. You can use our resume template or insert your own HTML document plus a brief bio, equipment list, references and more.

WEB LINKS: $250.00 annually. Free for Display Advertisers.

OnLINE DISPLAY AD: Bonus for advertisers. Your ad is linked and displayed on our web site under the chapter and category where the ad was purchased.
